Change event titles in a calendar you subscribe to

Your calendar feed uses codes, long prefixes or the same name on every event. You want titles you can read at a glance.

What you can change

  • Remove repeated text, such as your own name or the organization's name on every event.
  • Rearrange the pieces of a title. "Alex Morgan · Bartender · BD" can become "Bistro · Bartender 5pm–11:30pm".
  • Replace a cryptic title with your own words, for every event that has it.
  • Add the start and end time or weekday to the title, handy in month view and on your watch.

How

  1. Add the calendar to Calendar Corrector and tap an event.
  2. Build the new title from the pieces shown, or type your own.
  3. Save, and choose whether it applies to just this event, all events with the same word, or the whole calendar.

Fixes apply to future events automatically. If the organizer changes how they word things, the app tells you which events no longer matched.

Calendar Corrector does this for you on iPhone, iPad and Mac. It’s coming soon to the App Store; your first calendar will be free. Learn more
