Privacy policy
Calendar Corrector has no account, no server and no tracking. Your calendars stay between your device, your calendar provider and Apple.
Who is responsible
Calendar Corrector is made by Rayn Rosnuk, who makes apps as Loon Softworks, 181 Gerrard St E, C4, Toronto, ON M5A 2E5, Canada. Contact: [email protected].
What the app works with
- Calendars on your device. With your permission, the app reads the calendars you choose and writes corrected copies into calendars it creates. It never edits calendars it didn’t create.
- Calendar links you add. If you paste a subscription link (for example from a scheduling app), it is stored in your device’s keychain and used only to download that calendar directly from its provider.
- Your fixes and settings. Rules, edits and your home region are stored on your device.
Corrected calendars sync to your other devices only through the calendar account you choose to store them in (for example iCloud), under that provider’s own terms.
What we collect
Nothing. The developer does not receive your calendars, events, links, location, contacts or usage data. The app contains no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking code, and holiday data is built into the app rather than fetched from a server.
Network use
The app only connects to the internet to download the calendar links you added. Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details.
Notifications
Alerts about changed events or calendars that stop updating are created on your device. They are not sent through any server.
Deleting your data
Removing a calendar in the app deletes its link and fixes. Deleting the app removes everything it stored on your device. Calendars the app created can also be deleted in the Calendar app.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, transfer or delete. Your rights under privacy laws where you live (such as PIPEDA, Quebec’s Law 25, the GDPR or US state laws) still apply; if you email us, we use your message only to reply.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, before any app version that relies on it.
